Story, Screenplay & Direction: Kranthi/Kantri (NTR) joins a fake currency generating company run by Pothuraju (Prakash Raj) mafia due to some reasons. After getting a good position in the gang, he gets some differences with Pothuraju and maintains a separate gang. The interval shot comes with a twist wherein Pothuraju and Kantri aim guns at each other. Relating to that twist there is another twist in the climax; in between there’s heroine for the songs and comedians for comedy.

Meher Ramesh who has written the story, screenplay and dialogues should be named 'Vaali' who could'nt think on his own and depends totally on someone else’s thoughts. There is some variety in the dialogues in the first half though the timings of a few seem to be odd. With this we can notice a good writer hidden in Meher Ramesh. If we watch the film in a DVD with a few breaks, we feel it’s very good but if we watch the whole movie at a time, we surely will get headache.

There is nothing new about the direction. He wanted to create magic with a techniques borrowed from his guru Puri like the hero with a careless character. Sameer Reddy’s camera workmanship has been impersonated from Shyam K Naidu. The film could not get the much needed hype for Young Tiger NTR even after delivering the super hit Yamadonga. May be because of new director and the continuous failures of the Vyjayanti Banner the film could not generate any curiosity among the audience.

Music: If everyone is coping someone or the other, then Mani Sharma must have thought 'why I should work'...so he copied the tunes of 'Pokiri'.

Artists Performance:

NTR: NTR has carved a niche for himself as a good actor at a very young age, we can remember him as a big hero at a young age. A hero who could prove his Box office stamina twice has imitated Mahesh Babu in many ways, be it the dialogues or the get up. Don’t know whether Mahesh Babu has grown to that extent or NTR has gone down that Mahesh’s style has been simulated. But he looks more handsome than in Yamadonga, though there is not much difference in the dance steps will were performed excellently.

Others: Prakash Raj is ok. Hansika is only restricted to the songs. There is nothing much to talk about her role in the film. Sunil, Brahmanandam comedy could not generate laughter. There a half a dozen villains who just come in between and go.

How is the movie?

If last years Question paper is photocopied and given to the students, they easily write it. Same is the case with Kantri. It’s a Xerox copy of 'Pokiri' & that’s why the audience has just left it. There are only two twists and if that is discussed there nothing left in the film.

Dialogues and 'Vayassunami' song has been main attraction in the first half. Though NTR lost weight, he could not lose his head weight as it has come by birth. The dialogues where the inner meaning implies “in whichever field I may be I like to be No.1” will make the audience clap. When we are about to make up our mind that film is good, Meher Ramesh gives a big blow. It turns to be a Love story, then a story with her being sandwiched between two girlfriends, then changes to a become a comedy between villians. Thats it and again there’s a twist which a normal audience who watch atleast one film per month can guess it.

The film should be watched only for NTR’s dialogues and steps that too not in leisure but with a lot of patience.

Final Verdict:

This film has all the elements to entertain the mass audience in the first half , it will have good collections in the B and C centers. As there no pre generated hype the talk is very positive. There is a doubt whether the film will run in the A centers or not.
