Verdict : AVERAGE
2.5/5
Story, Screenplay & Direction : Nagarjuna is the God. Vishnu is an ordinary human being, except this the film cannot be termed as a Bruce Almighty remake. This film is a look alike of the super flop Krishna Vamshi’s film ‘Sri Anjaneyam”, for which the director is repenting till today. In the above film, what is God and what is his Importance has been told perfectly. But this did not happen in the case of Krishnarjuna. Here the God comes with the sole purpose of uniting the Hero and Heroine into marital bliss. The story of the film is revealed here itself.
The story written by P.Vasu is already an outdated concept, it is clear that the story is an inspiration from Bruce Almighty. To show his trademark style he has just added a few twists in tale .Till interval the story goes no where, when it is a known fact that Nagarjuna is the sole attraction of the film, his entry should have been planned earlier but till the second half he is not shown.
During the first 10 minutes of the film we think that P.Vasu’s taking values are good even now, but after sometime we realize that he is still hanging out with the old concept of a village hero doing all those 1990 ‘s kind of stuff, which is irritating.
Music : M.M Keeravani has rendered the music for this film. Except the song "Yamaranju meedha vundhi punju”, none of the songs are appealing. Unfortunately that song is also a copy from the film Rowdy gaari pellam for which Bappi Lahiri has given the music. This is a remix version of that old song. Background score is also not that good.
Artists Performances :
Nagarjuna is the only strong point for this film. He is really handsome like Lord Krishna. But even a person like this has been shown as a beggar, which dint go well with the audience.Atleast his role is also not much in the film.Nagarjuna is seen only for a total of 15 minutes in the film and that too most of his part has been taken by graphics.
Vishnu should improve in his dialogue delivery and action, even during scenes which require heavy dose of action his expression are like that of an innocent man. Costumes and Hair Style should improve a lot, there must be a make over. Vishnu could not excel in anything except for dance.
Mohan Babu’s character is not a guest role but it is a waste role, the song picturised on him in the climax cannot be tolerated.
Mamata Mohandas added glamour to the film. The comedy scenes picturised on Brahmanandam, Sunil, Bhuvaneswari, and Venumadhav had a lot vulgarity.
How is the Movie?
We find the first 10 minutes of the film are amazing but after that the graph leads to a downfall. Vishnu’s role is exactly same as that of Venkatesh’s character in “chanti”, but it did not suit him. There no song in the film which is good. There is nothing in the film which can be termed as a highlight and at least in the first half of the film Nagarjuna is also not seen. Even after that the film does not boost up but in turn tests the patience of the audience. Except graphics there is nothing in the film. And every scene in which Nagarjuna appears is followed by a graphics; it is as if we are seeing a 24 frames graphics factory. And climax of the film is even worse I
wonder if the film director has at least understood it or not.krishnarjuna is more like a distress for the lakshmi prasanna banner .
Final Verdict : A centre audience think it is bruce almighty and go to watch it but return in distress.Even the B & C centre audience who go to the film for nagarjuna are also coming out disappointed with a negative talk.
