Verdict :AVERAGE  3/5

Story, Screenplay & Direction: Neelakantam’s (Prakash Raj) daughter Subba Lakshmi elopes with her boy friend on the day of her marriage, with Neelakantam kidnaps their friends to find the whereabouts of his daughter. Meanwhile one of their friends Krishna(Allu Arjun) falls in love with his second daughter Meena(Sheela). In the process of searching his daughter Krishna comes to know how much Neelakantam loves his daughter and he gets ready to sacrifice his love. An intelligent audience can quite easily guess the climax of the movie.

Bhaskar…just this name has made the audience to think that there’s something new in this film. He tried to prove that every single person has his own reasoning and individuality which failed in 'Bommarillu' but he could prove it in this film.

There’s no concentration and homework done for the screenplay. Though the story is new, but by showing that each role has individuality, the director did not think where did the importance of the story was...?

Director has put a lot of effort in doing this film with all the scenes going on early morning with all the fog, audience happily enjoys it. But lack of Parugu in the screenplay is the only drawback. Though Bhaskar has passed in distinction as a director and story writer, he could not gain any marks for his screenplay.

Cameraman’s craftsmanship is very commendable; he is behind the film’s fresh look.

Artists Performance:

Allu Arjun : He has shown some maturity in his acting, there are no such scenes where he has excellently as mentioned during the audio release function. But his new look and comparing with his previous films it can be noticed that he has reached great heights be it in 'Gangothri' with a childish character or a mature performance in 'Parugu', there’s a lot of difference in both.

Prakash Raj : Though Prakash Raj has quoted this as best performance in his career may be he acted well during the audio function rather in the film. There was no reaction from the audience during the so called best performance scene, his get up also did not suit him and finally it’s as if we have seen him in these kind of roles many a times.

Others: Sheela, Jayasudha & Subbaraju has done justice to their roles. Sunil and Sudhakar Reddy’s comedy has generated laughter.

Music: The main negative point for this film is Music, though the songs are good they haven’t been picturised well except for the song “Nammavemo Gaani”.

Even for the scenes which have come out well Mani Sharma’s instruments have made them dull, importantly there’s no specific theme music for the film. Devi Sri Prasad’s void ness can be clearly seen in this film.

Dialogues: Ravi’s dialogues also have done some favor to it.

How is the Movie?

There are three things that has to be correct or wrong….the pain that is caused when a daughter elopes, when a girl friends marriage is fixed and when a girl fears whether she can marry her love or not. If everyone and everything is correct then where is the tort?

Whether there is no courage to tell the truth or could not dare to do so the film has become meaningless. A film that should run fast is going in a slow pace. Parugu is not a great but we also cannot say it’s a boring film , it’s a one time watch film in leisure and that doesn't’t mean we should take out some time and watch it.

Bommarillu is one of the best movies of this decade which created a flutter at the box office last year; its director Bhaskar’s next venture with Allu Arjun has generated quite a craze for this film. With a successful producer, Bunny who is doing selective films and a good director lets see whether they have reached the audience expectations or not.

Final Verdict :Summer has given the film great openings, but we have to wait and see how long can the film withstand at the box office. People who watch the film with great expectations from the 'Bommarillu' team are in for a disappointment.
